John "Big John" Soto is a character in Halloween Kills.
Biography[]
Big John and his husband, Little John, run their own real estate business. One of the houses on their market was the Myers house. Because they could not sell it, they moved into the old house themselves, fully knowing its gruesome history as Michael Myers' childhood home. On Halloween Night in 2018, Big John is listening to a record while Little John wants to watch a movie. A young girl suddenly appears at their front door, saying her sister has choked on a razor blade, but it is really just a distraction to get them out of the house so that their friend may steal their Halloween candy. The Johns terrify the children by telling them the story of how Michael Myers killed his sister Judith upstairs in their house, scaring them off.
Death[]
After Michael Myers breaks into their house, Big John and Little John split up to look for the intruder. As Big John enters the bedroom (Judith's old room), Michael comes up behind him and stabs him in the armpit. He then finishes Big John by gouging his eyes out with his thumbs. Little John later found him before being killed by Michael. Allyson Nelson and Cameron Elam later found his and Little John's bodies together.

- When Tommy Doyle goes around town telling people to look out for Michael, you can see an advertisement on a bench behind him for Big John and Little John's real estate business.
- He, along with Little John, is the first LGBT character in the Halloween series, and is also Michael Myers' first LGBT victim.
