This individual was the one responsible for driving the prison bus that was meant to transport Michael Myers from Smith's Grove Sanitarium to a new institution called Glasshill. During the trip, the driver was said to have been overpowered and killed by Michael, and this caused the bus to crash into a ditch, allowing for Michael's escape.
However, the exact reason why the transport bus crashed was never thoroughly explained during the Halloween series, leaving it open for debate.
