Jason Blum is an American film producer. He is the founder and CEO of the eponymous company Blumhouse Productions, which has produced such film franchises as the Paranormal Activity, The Purge, and Insidious film series. He also produced the critically and commercially successful film Halloween (2018). He is also the producer for Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends.

- On November 29, 2020, Blum revealed on social media that he and some of his family members had tested positive for COVID-19. Luckily, it seems like he and the family have very mild symptoms, and he told fans not to worry about it on Twitter. Nevertheless, many fans since then have been pouring in to offer their support on his various social media accounts.[1]
