Lori Parker is a character that only appears in the 1997 young adult novel The Scream Factory.
Biography[]
Lori Parker is a young girl who attended Haddonfield High School in 1997 as a senior. She is described as a girl with "Girl next door looks and almost shy personality" in contrast to her outgoing best friend, Sally Wilson. She has long blonde hair and is a straight A student.
Lori and Sally are given a History assignment by Mrs. Grubbs and go to City Hall to investigate Haddonfield's settlers, only to be startled by Mayor Jamison and recruited to plan a party for the town at City Hall. She and Sally are then picked up by Sally's boyfriend, Matt Hudson, and on the way home, they pick up a stranded Jake Kovac, who Lori has a secret crush on.
Over the next few days, Lori and Jake begin to form a relationship and end up making out at Jake's house, which is interrupted by Jake's security alarms going off and the police telling the kids to leave the property.
Lori attended the Halloween party with Sally, Matt, and Jake. However, Jake and Lori got into argument over his ex-girlfriend, Brenda. But they reunited before the end of the night and were able to survive a fire caused by Michael Myers, and survive Halloween.
