Malcolm McDowell is an English actor with a career spanning over forty years.
McDowell is well known for his roles in the controversial films if...., A Clockwork Orange and Caligula. His versatility has led to his presence in many films and television series of different genres, including O Lucky Man!, Britannia Hospital, Blue Thunder, Voyage of the Damned, Tank Girl, Star Trek Generations, the TV serial Our Friends in the North, Entourage, Heroes, Metalocalypse, the animated film Bolt, the 2007 remake Halloween, and its 2009 sequel Halloween II.
Halloween[]
McDowell appeared as Dr. Sam Loomis in Rob Zombie's 2007 remake of the horror film Halloween and in the 2009 sequel Halloween II. Coincidentally, McDowell has mentioned having met and known Donald Pleasence, the late actor who portrayed Loomis in previous Halloweens, some thirty years prior.
