Marcus is a character in 2018's Halloween and Halloween Kills, played by Michael Smallwood.
Biography[]
On Halloween Night 2018, Marcus is getting ready to go to a Halloween party with his partner, Vanessa. Vanessa waits by their car while Marcus gets the final part of his doctor costume, a stethoscope. They leave without knowing they have been seen by Michael Myers, who has just killed their neighbor.[1]
Later that night, having left the party and gone to a bar Marcus and Vanessa are sat by table occupied by the survivors of Michael Myers 40 years previous, Tommy Doyle, Lindsey Wallace, Marion Chambers and Lonnie Elam. At first they ask the group to be quieter but become apologetic after Tommy relives the story of Halloween 40 years ago to the bar and even join them for a drink. As news spreads that Michael has been killing again in Haddonfield, Marcus and Vanessa are shocked to see that some of the victims have been found on their street. They leave for their car, Marcus goes back inside after forgetting his stethoscope and as Vanessa enters the front seat she is startled by another escaped mental patient who was on the bus with Michael. Believing the patient to be Michael, Tommy uses as baseball bat to frighten him, causing him to crash Marcus and Vanessa's car before escaping.[2]
Marcus and Vanessa decide to join the mob Tommy is putting together to hunt down Michael and go with Lindsey and Marion in Lindsey's car.[2]
Death[]
The group stopped by a playground and Lindsey exits the car in order to warn some kids to go home. Michael Myers then appears and attacks the car, climbing on top of it and smashing the windows. Marion starts shooting the roof and the windows hoping to hit Michael. The backseat window breaks and Marcus got Vanessa to crawl out to safety. Marion then opened the car door to shoot Michael, but, having used all her bullets is, attacked and killed. Marcus tried to attack Michael by strangling him with the stethoscope, but Michael retaliates by stabbing in the eye with a kitchen knife, killing him.[2]
Michael would later place both Marcus and Vanessa's bodies on a merry-go-round, and put a pumpkin mask on him. His body, along with Vanessa's, were later found by Allyson Nelson, Tommy, Lonnie, and Lonnie's son Cameron.
