Mary White is a character that only appears in the 1997 young adult novel The Old Myers Place.
Biography[]
Mary White was a new student in Haddonfield, Illinois who had moved from Los Angeles, California into the old Myers house with her family. Mary had a wild lifestyle in Los Angeles, dating a drug addict who got her arrested during a drug bust, and was shocked to learn of the history of her new home. She had red hair, as did her mother, who took it upon herself to set her up with Jeff Wayland.
Mary and Jeff had dated for a summer before Jeff began getting moody and withdrawn before breaking up with her. Later, after Josh Pinder asked her out, Jeff approached her and warned her that Josh was dangerous. Mary had an antagonistic relationship with her cousin, Julifer.
After Mary's date with Josh, she was attacked in her home by an intruder. She ran to a neighbor's house and called the police, who found Jeff unconscious on the property. He claimed to have been trying to help Mary by stopping the real intruder.
Mary took her friends, Josh Pinder, Shannon Geary, Kimmy Harrison, Rob Wheeler, and Tanya Taylor to a mall construction site, where Rob and Tanya were murdered by Michael Myers. The next day, Josh had a party. When Mary arrived, Josh began getting aggressive and tried to rape her, but she fought him off and ran away. She was aided by her cousin Julifer and her friend, Michelle. But Josh began to attack them all before Jeff Wayland arrived and fought with Josh.
After Jeff took her home, Mary was attacked by Michael Myers, but Jeff returned and stabbed him with a jagged pipe, causing a gas leak. The house began to burn, which falsely led Jeff and Mary to believe that Michael had died in the fire.
