"P.O.V." is a short comic featured in Halloween: 30 Years of Terror. It takes place in the continuity of the H20 Timeline.
Plot[]
1991
Haddonfield has just crowned "Miss Haddonfield 1991" and the young woman makes her way back to her dressing room. As she sits down, she smiles at her victory but sees a shape in the mirror. The young woman is pushed against the desk by the Shape, who proceeds to decapitate her. Michael leaves the headless woman to stare at the bloody mirror.
Arc significance and continuity[]
This entire story is told without dialogue and through the alternating points of view of Michael and Miss Haddonfield of 1991. This is done to echo the opening P.O.V. shot of the original Halloween.
The decapitation of Miss Haddonfield 1991 was first alluded to in Halloween: Autopsis, when Patrick Carter was collecting photos of Michael's victims in between 1978 and 1993. Her death was also mentioned in Halloween: Sam.
