Phil Dickerson is a character in Halloween Kills.
Biography[]
Phil is awoken in the middle of the night by fire trucks rushing down his street to his neighbor Laurie Strode's house. He comes downstairs to his wife, Sondra, who is playing with a drone. When the drone is thrown out of the bathroom, Phil goes to investigate and discovers Michael Myers in there. He locks the door and attempts to warn Sondra, but Michael punches through the door, bangs Philip's head against the wall then impales his neck on the door's glass shards. An injured Phil calls out to Sondra, urging her to run, but is forced to listen as Michael attacks his wife. As he calls out her name, Michael grabs him and places his body on the kitchen table before proceeding to stab him in the back with multiple kitchen knives.[1]

Notes and trivia[]
- In the novelization, Phil is described with an almost completely bald head and a large beard like Santa Claus, an appearance which showed the years had not been kind to him. A complete flip-around from the film version of Phil, with his almost-full head of hair and a clean face with little wrinkles.
- As well in the novelization, it is said he has a CPAP mask for sleep apnea that he rarely wears arounds the house, which we see in the film.
- Phil's personality in the film is cheeky yet amiable to his wife Sondra. In the novelization, Phil is cheeky and disrespectful as well.
