Shirley Jones is an unseen character in Halloween H20: Twenty Years Later, voiced by Lisa Gay Hamilton.
Biography[]
Shirley Jones was the wife of Hillcrest Academy's security guard, Ronald Jones. While Shirley and her husband were on good terms, she did not support his dream of becoming a fiction writer, because she felt it was going nowhere. During a telephone conversation, Shirley criticized Ronnie for using the word "melon" as an adjective to describe a woman's breasts in one of his stories. She also expressed concern about how Ronnie's unrealistic pursuit of a writing career could potentially delay the couple's decision to have their first child. On October 31, 1998, after Ronnie survived getting shot by Will Brennan as part of serial killer Michael Myers's first murderous rampage in 20 years, he phoned Shirley to tell her that he had now been inspired to write a romantic thriller. Shirley was excited about this idea, and then she and Ronnie reaffirmed their love for one another, to finish their emotional phone call.[1]
